  39. This stack may be used for calculating the minimum sample size (one or two arms) with a p<0.05 value and, when specifically noticed, with a p<0.01 value.
  40.  
  41. Sample size can be calculated for quantitative or qualitative data, with the following choices:
  42.     * Both arms will have the same size (even if your pilot trial had different arm sizes).
  43.     * Arms will have different size.
  44.            - both unknown, or
  45.            - a predetermined proportion between them. 
  46.     * A desired difference between arms, without having a previous pilot trial.
  47.     * Only one sample (some data from a pilot trial or a standard deviation, are needed).

  49. Choose an option by clicking in the desired button. Once in the specific window, type the required data in the appropriate blank boxes provided.

  51. For your convenience, you can also type your own headings in the appropriate boxes. Click the Calculate Now! button and the minimum sample size required will be displayed.

  53. Old data can be replaced by typing in new data or erased all toghether by clicking the Clear Data button.

  55. In order to save our precious disk space, the stack compacts itself while closing or returning home.
